From the bench to the field: see why the BRK Brocock Ranger XR2 Tactical stands out. We cover specs, power settings, and first impressions of this premium air rifle
Welcome to the debut of ‘First Shots’: our new series of punchy first impressions. Today, we are heading out with the brand-new BRK Brocock Ranger XR2 Tactical.
With prices for the XR2 rifles starting at around £950 and reaching £1,350 for this Tactical version, the big question is whether it is worth the extra investment for use on the range and in the field.
Today, I am reviewing the .177 version to see if it lives up to the hype. That side-lever action is absolute bliss, and it definitely stands out as a highlight of the rifle. We also look at the Huma-regulated consistency and how it handles at 35 yards. From the 13-position power adjuster to the adjustable buttstock, we cover the hits and the minor misses in just under 4 minutes.
