This woodland is one area in which Mick has systematically eradicated grey squirrels from the area, and as a consequence, it has a thriving population of our beautiful native reds. However, as anyone who works on red squirrel conservation knows, one grey in the area is one too many, and Mick has spotted a grey on his trail cams.

The situation needs to be remedied! And fast! This is not a “big bag day”, because there are so few greys in this part of woodland; it is a highly targeted mission to take out the culprit before it causes serious damage to the carefully nurtured population of reds. Enjoy this one, it’s a little bit different.
