Mick Garvey heads back to his old stomping ground to clear up a booming (and unwanted) population of grey squirrels that are plaguing the landowner.
There are no reds in this area – partly due to the high population of greys – and so Mick is confident using the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO thermal scope to take the shots. He does still take care to double check the colour of the squirrel using a daytime glass optic, though, rather than make a mistake he will regret for “his whole life”, as he put it himself. Mick is a squirrel ranger in his home county of Cumbria, and brings his extensive skills and knowledge to the forefront in this grey squirrel clear up video!
