Here’s a seriously attractive possibility for those of you who like the ‘tactical’ style sporter. It’s the new Webley Black Widow, which as you can see draws much of its inspiration from the company’s top-selling Sidewinder pre-charged pneumatic, ten-shot, side-bolt rifle, but the Black Widow has more than enough features of its own. First, there’s a full-length barrel shroud, which is threaded for the fitting of an optional Logun QGS silencer. Then there’s that custom designed, dedicated right-hand stock, which can be fitted with an optional bi-pod. Finally, the Black widow is guaranteed to deliver over 120, full-power shots per charge, presumably in .22, and it’s set to cost 699. More details are available from Webley on 01902 722 144 and as soon as a production model is available, we’ll be testing it.
