New for 2020 is the Beretta M9A3 Full Metal Co2 BB pistol by Umarex.
The sharp-eyed amongst you will recognise this pistol and indeed, the Umarex Beretta M9A3 has been available for little over a year now. However, this new model benefits from a metal slide, metal frame and overall heavier feel in the hand. This leads to an even more realistic shooting experience.
The Beretta M9A3 Full Metal model benefits from all other features found on the original. The heavy blowback slide gives a feel as close to the original 9mm pistol as possible, powered from a 12g Co2 capsule.
The heavy metal drop out magazine holds both the Co2 capsule and 16 rounds of steel BB’s. Additional magazines are also available, for that fast-fire and loading experience.
The trigger can be fired in single or double action mode, with the hammer being cocked on each blowback of the slide. However, the pistol can easily be de-cocked if required. The slide can be removed and disassembled, thanks to a quick and easy field-strip method. This means cleaning and maintaining the Beretta M9A3 is a doddle.
The FDE (Flat Dark Earth) finish to the pistol is remarkable quality and even adds to the overall grip. The FDE cap on the end of the barrel is even removable to reveal a thread, for adding a silencer/moderator or compensator. The additional weaver rail on the underside of the frame means attaching accessories such as lasers or torches to add accuracy are also possibilities.
For military collectors, pistol collectors, or just those looking for a super-fun and realistic shooting experience, the Beretta M9A3 Full Metal pistol is certainly worth considering adding to your collection.
