Hundreds of nominations have been whittled down for the Great British Shooting Awards 2025 and voting is now open to the public.
The awards, supported by headline sponsor HikMicro and category sponsors, Beretta, Hornady and Nocpix, aim to give recognition to the products, organisations and people that make the fieldsports industry tick. Time Well Spent Group has received hundreds of nominations and its team of dedicated experts have reduced the competition to five shortlisted entries per category. There are more categories than ever before in 2025 with 23 sections open to public voting, with a further six categories open to trade voting.
Time Well Spent chief executive Simon K Barr commented: “This prestigious and important event stands as a beacon for excellence and innovation within our industry. It is our privilege to acknowledge those who go above and beyond making remarkable contributions that propel our sector forward.
“By celebrating these pioneers, we not only honour their achievements but also inspire our community to continue striving for greatness and shaping the future of our industry,” added Mr Barr.
Last year, the public vote selected Shooting Times contributor Chris Dalton as the Deerstalker of the Year for the sixth consecutive year. Ben Randall was named Gundog Trainer of the Year and Scott MacKenzie won the Gamekeeper of the Year award for the third time.
Public voting will run until 15 January 2025 and the results will be announced at the British Shooting Show on 14 February 2025.
