FX leads with three new rifles

FX Airguns and Umarex were among the manufacturers to unveil new products at IWA OutdoorClassics in Nuremberg, with the Swedish airgun maker leading the announcements.

FX revealed three new models at the show. The Panthera MKII and Dynamic MKII both receive a revised forend, updated optics rail and a quick-set trigger. The Panthera is aimed at competition shooters, with a fully adjustable stock and a forend that can house hidden or external weights.

Dynamic bridges hunting and target shooting

The Dynamic takes a broader brief, bridging the gap between target shooting and hunting: its revised stock incorporates a large air bottle delivering up to 360 shots per fill at sub-12 ft/lb, while FAC versions can exceed 200 ft/lb – the highest output in the FX range. The Panthera MKII is priced at £1,600.99–£1,873.99; the Dynamic MKII at £1,678.99–£1,756.99.

Benchmark targets benchrest shooters

A third model, the Benchmark, is aimed at the benchrest market, combining the Dynamic’s breech block and over-barrel plenum with a 300cc carbon fibre bottle, 700mm barrel, match-grade trigger and a traditional benchrest stock. The model will retail at £2,117.99. FX also announced .20 and .25 calibre options for the DRS and Impact ranges, available as user-installable barrel kits at £225.99 and £327.99 respectively.

Prices run from £320.99 to £800.99. The company also showed two new sub-6 ft/lb target pistols under the UX SPA banner – available in CO₂ or PCP in .177 or .22, priced at £133.99 and £154.99 – and three CO₂-powered .177 BB replica pistols: the Glock 19X MOS, Ruger SR1911 Competition and UX Statix.
