BSA Guns has launched the Meteor CLX, a new version of its Meteor air rifle which first appeared in 1959.

According to BSA Guns, the original Meteor was the company’s first air rifle designed for use with a telescopic sight. The new Meteor CLX is a full-power spring gun fitted with a cold hammer-forged barrel and comes supplied with a moderator.

Features include an adjustable trigger, Minelli beech stock, anti-bear trap protection and a recoil reduction rail for scope mounting. The rifle is available in .177 and .22 calibres.

The Meteor CLX is 104cm long, with 25.5cm barrels, and weighs 2.885kg. The recommended retail price is £365.
