Four years after its launch as an airgun shop, Suffolk Air Rifles goes from strength to strength

Suffolk Air Rifles is a division of Birds Tackle, in Great Blakenham, near Ipswich, Suffolk. Birds Tackle was established in 1981 and Suffolk Air Rifles became part of the company in 2014. Air rifles are not new to Birds Tackle because they have been selling air rifles since the mid-‘90s, but they decided to invest in the shooting arm of the business and Suffolk Air Rifles was born. It has since grown into one of the biggest airgun shops in Suffolk.

Suffolk Air Rifles is now a large part of the business and the company continues to offer

innovations from the trade, catering for all types of shooter, from the beginner to avid enthusiasts.

Wide range

SAR has a wide range of over 50 air rifles and 30 air pistols on display, ranging from budget springers to get you started, all the way up to some of the very best in the business, and if they haven’t got what you want in stock, then they’ll get it. In store expect to see; Air Arms, BSA, Weihrauch, FX, Crosman, Walther, Gamo, Umerex, Brocock, Diana and many more.

There’s also a wide range of accessories available including; pellets, targets, spare parts, dive bottles, pumps, gun care products, decoys, shotgun cartridges, rifle ammunition and much more. They specialise in Hawke scopes and optics, Jack Pyke clothing and are one of 40 official NiteSite Dealers in the UK. SAR specialise in FX Airguns, as one of the largest FX dealers in East Anglia they hold one of the largest selections of Weihrauchs in the country.

Open days

There’s an open day every year at the shop, the details of which can be found on Suffolk Air Rifles Facebook page, along with special offers and new stock. These events have become very popular with customers and suppliers alike, with a range for demo’ rifles and plenty of product on display, so it’s a good opportunity to get your hands on a product before making that decision to buy.

The staff at SAR strive to give the most friendly and helpful customer service they can, in a laid back and relaxed atmosphere, and with a combined wealth of knowledge and experience they ensure that you go away happy, with all your questions answered and the products you desire.
