Midlands-based clay shooting ground, Barby Sporting, which falls under the Cadman Sporting umbrella, has today announced the opening of its new, all-weather, premium air gun range, which will officially open to the public on Wednesday 2nd December.
The purpose-built air gun range features 18 lanes with targets up to 60 yards, alongside two long-range lanes with targets up to 110 yards, making it one of the longest and largest air gun ranges in the UK.
Offering a variety of target difficulties, the state-of-the-art range features the latest self-setting knockdown targets and is designed to accommodate shooters of all abilities and ages, provided u16s are supervised by an adult. Complete with a covered shooting area, the range has been built for use in all weather conditions and is floodlit for all-year-round opening. Rifle hire, pellets and air supply are available on site.
Commenting on the new development, Julian Copeman, General Manager of Cadman Sporting said: “We are delighted to unveil our new, premium air gun range – the first in a long list of developments set to take place here at Barby Sporting over the coming months. The build of this range was our core focus for 2020, so we are excited to have achieved completion prior to the new year and are looking forward to welcoming both members and non-members to the range over the coming days.”
Future developments for the shooting ground are set to be announced in the new year.
