The Game Fair and The Scottish Game Fair will both run in 2021, the latter thanks to a partnership between GWCT & The Gamr Fair
Scottish Game Fair | 24-26 September 2021 | Scone Palace, Perthshire
The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) Scottish Game Fair, sponsored by NFU Mutual, has confirmed the event will go ahead this year from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 September at its usual venue of Scone Palace in Perthshire.
This news is the result of an exciting partnership between the GWCT and organisers of The Game Fair, the oldest and largest outdoor event of its kind in the world. The deal guarantees the income for the conservation charity and the long-term future of the much-loved three-day event which The Game Fair will now run under licence.
David Noble, Chairman, GWCT in Scotland, commented: “GWCT members, visitors and stakeholders can expect a fabulous event this year in the format they know and love in the wonderful setting of Scone Palace. Having missed the show last year, we are thrilled to be able to make this much-anticipated announcement. The event is so important to the region, the industry, our visitors and stakeholders and will provide much-needed funding for the GWCT.”
James Gower, Managing Director, The Game Fair, added: “This new partnership demonstrates our commitment to the sector by supporting one of the most important charities. The Scottish Game Fair plays a hugely important role in providing funds for the GWCT and this exciting new arrangement with the Trust means that we can add our expertise to making this event a continuing success both this year and in the future.”
