Hawke Optics, UK distributor of Nocpix, has announced the launch of the Bolt H50R.
Available now at £2,499, the scope is the latest addition to the Bolt Series, which Hawke positions as a range bringing premium thermal performance within reach of hunters who might otherwise be priced out of the market.

.
According to Hawke, at the heart of the scope is a 640×512 thermal sensor with a sub-18mK NETD, making it capable of detecting heat signatures at distances of up to 2,600m. It is paired with a 50mm F1.0 lens, 3–24x magnification and a 60Hz refresh rate. A 1,200m laser rangefinder and integrated ballistic calculator provide instant distance readings and real-time aiming solutions, while a dual-battery system – combining a built-in 5,000mAh rechargeable cell with a swappable 18650 – is rated for up to nine hours of continuous use. Hot-swap capability means the scope need not be powered down for a battery change.
Connectivity comes via Nocpix’s N-LINK app, giving users control over reticle settings, ballistic parameters, colour palettes and image adjustment, as well as access to built-in photo, video and audio recording. Recoil-activated video capture is also included.

.
The H50R is built from high-strength aluminium alloy, carries an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating and is certified for use in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C. It comes with a 3+1 year device warranty and a 10-year detector warranty.
